Thanks for stopping by! I appreciate you taking the time to read through my reviews and other posts! However, there are a few things you should take into consideration.
1) Please keep everything appropriate! I want this blog to also be available to younger audiences, which means keeping everything you comment safe too! All my posts are meant for younger audiences. If they're not, they'll be marked with a warning label at the top.

Welcome!

  Hey All! Holy Moly! I didn't expect how long I would go offline, not only from Blogger but also from my socials. The summer got hectic, then school came rushing in and stole the spot. My schedule has filled up dramatically, but now that I have a routine down, I'm hoping to start blogging a bit more, posting, and engaging with my audience.  Even though I haven't posted, I've still tried to read everyday, which has proved successful. Unfortunately, I'll be skipping a bunch of reviews in order to stay current. I'm going to finish a review that I've already had for a while, then jump into my more current reads.   Also, I've changed the name! From the beginning, Confessions of a Reading Freak didn't really stand out to me as an exciting blog name. I felt that it didn't really draw people in, nor did it fit the blog itself. Tahereh Mafi's Shatter Me

Before I began reading this book, I hopped on Good reads to read some Q&As. A lot of the questions were, "Is this book good?" or "Is it worth reading?" Tons of people said this book was trash and wasn't worth reading. Some people who enjoyed the book said it was similar to The Hunger Games and Divergent. Others said it was an insult to compare Shatter Me with The Hunger Games and Divergent.  In my opinion, this book was actually pretty good. I loved the idea and would definitely read the rest of the series to find out what happens. I'm a dystopian fan, so this was right up my league. I felt like you couldn't really compare this with The Hunger Games as it didn't quite fit with it, but Divergent definitely had some similar characteristics.
